Summer Intensive Audition    On site Auditions: Feb 4, 2012, 1:45pm

You may send also audition bysending a DVD showing 10 minutes of barre, center and pointe work in leotard (no costumes or performance footage).  Provide a return postage paid envelope along with the audition fee, if you would like the DVD returned.  DVDs must be submitted no later than May 15.  Studio auditions for the summer intensive at the IBA studios may be arranged by contacting the office at 864-879-9404 and attending a specified class.

On site audition $25 non-refundable
Video Audition $25  non- refundable

Housing with host family $100 per week includes: breakfast, dinner & transport to studio

Tuition

1 week $375    2 weeks $750       3 weeks $1000

$150 of the tuition due by April 1, 2012

Full tuition due by May 1, 2012

Summer Ballet Classes, 2012  

  July 9,16, 23, 30, Aug 6

Ages 11 and up

IBA's summer classes are designed to continue ballet training throughout the summer for the serious ballet student.  Variations classes teach ballet solos from the classical repertory.  Summer classes take place Monday through Friday during the above weeks. 

                            Age 11+     Level I        2:00-3:30             $70/week

                            Age 13+     Level II       2:00-4:00             $80/week

                            Age 11+    Variations   4:00-5:00             $55/week 

Single classes may be taken or the student may purchase a 10 class card.

Instructors will determine class placement.  Level II includes pointe if appropriate.

 Ballet and Creative Dance Camps

Ballet Camps Ages 4-10

IBA's Summer Ballet Camps are designed to develop an interest in ballet through graded classes and activities in a fun, non-competitive environment.  Participants explore the performance activities of costumes, stage make-up, staging and music.

Monday - Friday 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Daily Schedule

9:30-10:00 Warm up exercises, class prep

10:00-11:00 Ballet class

11:00-12:00 Mon/Wed - Stage make-up 

                 Tues - Costumes,   Thurs.- Improvisation,    Friday-ballet video

12:00 Friday Studio Performance for parents

Ballet Camps are $125 per week, $10 off when you sign up for more than 1 session

Creative Dance Camps      Ages 3-4

                                              Creative Movement classes are based on natural movement instead of a formal dance style.  Carefully selected activities form a foundation for future development in dance and are a meaningful way to develop motor control, spatial awareness and group participation.
