2011-2012 Season

Auditions for participation in the International Exchange Program will be held February 4, 2012, 4:30pm.   Audtions are open to ballet students in Greenville and surrounding areas ages 13 and up.

International Ballet Academy signed a five-year agreement with the Kiev Municipal Ukrainian Academy of Dance (KMUAD) in December, 2005 in a ceremony with His Excellency Dr. Sergiy Korsunsky, Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Ukraine. This agreement was renewed in 2010.  The purpose of this agreement is to develop cultural and artistic understanding between the United States and the Ukraine. American students experience rigorous dance training unlike anything available in South Carolina, perhaps even the United States. Dancers are given the opportunity to perform in professional theaters as well. They also spend a significant time with the Ukrainian dancers to learn about the day-to-day life of their peers in another country. Sightseeing excursions are designed to educate the students on Ukrainian history and culture.  Contact us for more information.
