Welcome to International Ballet Academy

International Ballet Academy is pleased to offer you exceptional ballet training in the upstate of South Carolina.  Please visit the tabs to learn about what our school has to offer YOU! 

School year classes start in August and end in May. Parents are welcome to observe their students in class during observation weeks in November  and March yearly. All students enrolled in the Academy will have the opportunity to perform in the end-of-year demonstration in May at McAlister Auditorium, Furman University.

The Academy offers 3 divisions in their school-year program:

* Open school - ages 3 through adult
Includes an advanced class on Saturdays for students from other schools who wish to supplement their training
 

* Pre-professional - ages 13 + by audition only
For students who choose to commit themselves to a  serious training program
 

* Professional - ages 16 + by audition only
This program is for the accomplished dancer and is the only one of its kind in South Carolina. It is geared to the older dancer that is pursuing or has achieved a professional performing career. High School students and graduates are eligible to audition for the professional program. Classes are held daily in the morning.
